The Buzan Centres @ Mindwerx International present four core train the trainer programs, looking at Mind Mapping, Speed Reading, Enhanced Memory and Better Study Skills.  Each program follows a professional development pathway that ensure you of the very best training, so you can quickly become and effective and successful instructor.

Teaching Others to Mind Map ($1980 inc GST)

Invented by Tony Buzan Mind Maps® are now used by an estimated 500 million people worldwide (leaving lots more to be trained), and have been described as the Swiss Army Knife for the Brain.

Since forming in 2001 the Buzan Centre has run more than 25 certification programs in Australia and overseas, and trained hundreds of passionate Mind Mapping instructors in a wide array of industries.

The qualifying process involves a pre-workshop study of Mind Mapping, a four-day Brain Camp, and some post camp assignments that hone your skills and demonstrate your ability to train others to Mind Map effectively. The Brain Camp also looks at iMindMap and you will be able to become an iMindMap instructor as well as qualifying to teach others Mind Mapping through this process.

If you haven't already started Mind Mapping when you enrol on this program, you will be sent The Mind Map Book and be asked to read and start applying the techniques shown there, including to Mind Map the book itself. This Train the Trainer Program is open to anyone interested in significantly lifting their skills in reading with purpose and speed, and who want to share that skill with others.

It is an ideal additional skill set for those instructors already teaching Mind Mapping and/or Enhanced Memory and those involved in education at any level.

The Advanced Learning to Learn skills covered in our programs are all outlined in Tony Buzan's Mind Set books - The Speed Reading Book, The Memory Book and The Mind Map Book and provide the foundation for these programs.

If you haven't already started speed reading when you enrol on this program, you will be sent The Speed Reading Book and be asked to read and start applying the techniques shown there. Don't worry if you haven't excelled in increasing your speed and comprehension yet, we'll help you do that, but you should come to this program with a good understanding that reading at Speed is a skill that takes time and practice to develop - a key lesson that will serve you well when you start training others.

Fortunately you will be working with master trainers well versed in the skill of speed reading, who can show you the skills in a practical way that you can share with others. Don't worry if you haven't excelled in increasing your memory skills yet, we'll help you do that, but you should come to this program with a good understanding that enhanced memory is a skill that takes time and practice to develop - a key lesson that will serve you well when you start training others.

Fortunately your instructor for the program is Master Trainer Jennifer Goddard, who is the Deputy Chief Arbiter at the World Memory Championships, convenor of the Australian Memory Championships, and has helped establish the Thai Memory Championships. She is also working to establish a school based Memory program and championship in Australia and South Africa.

Teaching Other Better Study Skills ($1980 inc GST)

This is a new Buzan Centre program based on Tony Buzan's book The Study Skills Handbook, and brings together the very best of the Mind Mapping, Speed Reading and Enhanced Memory principles as well as other study skills into a complete and cohesive Learning to Learn program.

In this 4-day train the trainer program you will learn the basics of the three key aspects of advanced learning - Reading, Memory and Thought Organisation with Mind Maps, and you will be given everything you need to design and run your own Study Skills programs.

Study Skills are not only aimed at students, although that is the most obvious audience, but anyone wanting or needing to learn better. Most Study Skills Instructors will work with Secondary and Uni students, while others will focus on adults returning to study.

In-house trainers will want to focus on programs that give staff, particularly emerging managers and leaders, the skills needed to learn new jobs, and really manage the increasing study and work load.

The ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor (TLI) Program

This is the flagship accreditation program of the global ThinkBuzan organisation in which the Buzan Centre @ Mindwerx International is a key partner.

This program differs from the programs offered above in that it focuses on the use of iMindMaps in study, learning, creativity, innovation and much much more.

This master trainer led program gives you the advanced skills to use and instruct others in using iMindMap Mind Mapping software, in a host of ways. The aim is to show participants how to create their own training programs integrating iMindMap and Mind Mapping in the training.

The TLI is run throughput the world, and the Buzan Centre is leading the Australian / New Zealand targeted courses. The TLI program includes sessions by Tony Buzan, a ThinkBuzan instructor from the UK, and Master Trainer Jennifer Goddard. Participants are also invited to a dinner with Tony Buzan, so you get to meet the guru on a very personal level - an experience not to be missed.

When you become a ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor, or TLI, you are qualified to conduct your own workshops, qualify ThinkBuzan Certified Practitioners and hold seminars on innovation theory and application.
